2021 Virtual Speech Contest Celebrating Women in History!

 

Young ladies will have the opportunity to deliver a speech, practice their speaking skills, and compete for prizes!

 

Speech Topic: 

Who is a woman in history, or a woman currently playing an important role in history, that you admire and why?

 

Age Divisions:

Kindergarten-2nd Grade | 3rd-5th Grade | 6th-8th Grade | 9th-12th Grade

*Subject to change, if necessary to balance out number of entries

How to Enter:

Step 2: Email your video submission to Info@CenterStageElite.com. The deadline to send in your video is Monday, March 22, 2021 at 11:59 PM EST.

 

Rules and Guidelines:

The video should include the young lady delivering the speech in 2 minutes or less. Judges will be evaluating the speech content, delivery, and overall impression.

 

Results:

Results will be posted on our website, social media sites, and also emailed to all parents on March 30, 2021.

 

Prizes:

There will be a 1st and 2nd place winner in each age division. 1st place winners will receive a $50 Amazon e-Gift Card and a Complimentary 30 minute Virtual Pageant or Public Speaking Coaching Session from Center Stage Elite, LLC.  2nd place winners will receive a $25 Amazon e-Gift Card. All participants will receive an e-certificate of participation.

 

 

Here are a few Center Stage Elite tips for delivering a great virtual speech!

 

Eye Contact – Make eye contact with the camera. Ensure good lighting and audio quality.

Loud and Clear – Speak loud, clear, and use voice inflection.

Impact – Make a strong impact by being confident, poised, and using good body language.

Take a deep breath – Relax and take a deep breath before you start to calm your nerves.

Expression – Speak with expression, excitement, and have fun!
